Plus for trello api1/11/2024 ![]() I couple this with due dates and you can get a nice overview where everything at work is and if you filter by due date or label or member, you can really focus on just what you need to do. Once I do the item (say email this organization) I bump the card to the next list (say add to calendar). I have a card per organization and each list is what they need to have done. Or there could be a list per child with cards tracking assignments or meeting notes.įor my work, I have workflows of various entities that all need to go through a similar process. It boils down to Trello being a really flexible set of tools that you can get what you need out of them.įor a school I’d imagine you could set a card per child with a checklist of assignments completed. But with Trello, there is a lot less going back into my inbox in order to get things done. My inbox, with new messages steadily arriving, is not a productive place. I used to use my inbox as my todo list, but I prefer to go to Trello, which is a lot less distracting than my inbox. Having it on a list helps me remember I need to do the follow-up later. I can also CC emails to other people’s todo lists when I email them. I will often B/CC a card related to a project when I communicate about it, just so I have a nice record of that communication that I can reference when the next phase gets going. I agree that it’s between a task manager and a note app, which is its strength. I use it for personal use and I have several workflows that I live by.
